I’m preaching to myself today as much as anyone else. This week has been rough, despite the great celebrations of my son’s first birthday and the discovery of a third boy entering our family soon. But guys, let’s be real, the devil never rests, so I’m speaking Truth a little louder for you & forContinue reading “What a Mom Wants”

Twenty-four
Two days from now, I’ll be 24. I love birthdays, I love celebrating other people’s’ birthdays. But this year…whoosh. This year I am 24, pregnant on my birthday (again, for the third time), two kids in tow, not even married four years, starting a small business, feeling kind of crazy. From a Mother of Four
That’s me. Four babies. One in heaven, one in my belly, and two playing at my feet. Four. Since being pregnant (aka, recently), I immediately noticed that this pregnancy would be different from all the rest. With one and then two, people are ready to jump on the bandwagon of congratulations. They share excitement withContinue reading “From a Mother of Four”

Not everything that is painful is worth sharing, mind you, but I think it’s vulnerability and transparency in our pain that shields us from falling farther from Jesus. BeforeContinue reading “Be Not Fearful”
Playing God
I love this kid. He is my child, through and through. He is very much an introvert, just like me. When he’s around the right people, his personality explodes, and he is the sweetest, silliest, and funniest little boy I know. He’s currently going through a phase where he’s constantly asking, “Mommy, hold you?”Continue reading “Playing God”
